Project Description:
Thanks to media outreach efforts by The Vella Group, the Detroit Free Press developed a feature story on Willy Eskridge, executive chef at the Pope Francis Center, a Detroit organization that feeds and provides support for the city’s homeless population every day. Willy, known as “Chef Hollywood,” is a formally trained executive chef who has fed “Patti LaBelle, James Brown, Billy Crystal, five presidents, one Prince and Arnold Schwarzenegger.” He now puts his all into delicious “home cooking for people who don’t have homes.”
